Picasaweb is a photo sharing service provided by Google with so many features, like tagging, unlimited albums, photo manager, location tagging, commenting, public API, just to mention a few. Flickr on the other hand is also a photo sharing service provided by Yahoo. It has similar features just like Picasaweb, just that, it’s free account is not friendly like that of Picasaweb that offers unlimited albums and upload times with upgradable space of 1GB. Flickr’s free account restricts to showing only the most recent 200 photos, it is limited to only 3 sets ( its called album in Picasaweb lingo ), uploads are limited to 100MB per mont and other unfriendly nature of it.

With all these friendliness Picasaweb provide, I wonder why people tend to you use Flickr more than Picasaweb especially when it comes to free account of both services.

I’m asking a little favour from my readers, why do you use Flickr over Picasaweb, share by posting a comment.
